This guide demonstrates the process of logging into WordPress. WordPress is an open-source content management system (CMS). It is a popular tool for individuals without any coding knowledge who want to build websites and blogs. The software does not cost anything. Anyone can install, use, and modify it for free.
Follow the steps-
- Accessing the WordPress dashboard is as simple as adding “/wp-admin” to the end of your WordPress installation’s URL.
For example-
example.com/wp-admin
Note- If WordPress is installed in the document root of the URL, the address would be example.com/wp-admin. However, if WordPress is installed in a folder named “blog” on your domain, you would access it at example.com/blog/wp-admin. - Enter the username and password you used while installing your WordPress site.
Note- Your WordPress login credentials are different from your cPanel and AMP logins. Once logged in, you will gain access to the WordPress dashboard. - If you have installed WordPress on a new domain or a domain that has not been directed to your bodHOST Hosting account yet, you cannot access the dashboard until the domain is pointed to our servers or until the DNS changes take effect. In the meantime, you can configure WordPress to utilize your temporary URL, available in your AMP technical details.
Important note- If you configure WordPress to operate using your temporary URL, it is crucial to switch it back to using the actual domain name when you are prepared to launch the site live.
This way, you can log in to WordPress. If you require further assistance, contact our support staff at your earliest.
