SysCP – Open Source Control Panel

What is SysCP?

SysCP is a web-based control panel designed to help administrators manage hosting services through a simple browser interface. Its main goal is to make server management easier, so you can manage key services without relying solely on the command line.
It supports a range of common server applications, including:

• Web servers: Apache, Apache 2.x, and Lighttpd
• DNS servers: Bind9 and PowerDNS
• Mail servers: Courier, Dovecot, Postfix, and Exim4
• FTP servers: ProFTPD and Pure-FTPd
• Statistics tools: AWStats and Webalizer

Notably, it offers alternatives beyond the usual combinations, including support for Lighttpd, PowerDNS, and Dovecot.

SysCP was considered an interesting and relatively complete solution in its time, especially because it allowed more flexibility with components like Lighttpd, PowerDNS, and Dovecot compared to some other panels.
Important note:

SysCP is an older control panel and is no longer actively maintained. Many of its ideas and features continued in the Froxlor project, which is the more current successor. If you are setting up a new server today, it is generally better to consider actively supported control panels.
