This article provides systematic instructions on how to install Frog CMS on your bodhost hosting account manually.

Installing Frog CMS

Frog CMS is fully compatible with bodhost hosting plans. However, it requires a manual installation process.

Please Note: While bodhost servers support various software applications, troubleshooting for application-specific issues falls outside our scope of support.

To install Frog CMS, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Frog CMS application:
Visit the https://www.tuscanyitalyhotels.com/en/madebyfrog.html to download the application.
  2. Extract the application files:
After installation, download files on your local PC. If your operating system lacks built-in extraction tools, consider installing third-party software.
  3. Upload the files to your bodHOST account:
Use FTP to upload the extracted folder to the “public_html” directory in your bodhost hosting account.
  4. Create a MySQL database and user:
Create a new MySQL database and user using cPanel. The installation process will require these credentials.
  5. Initiate the installation via your web browser:
Open a web browser and navigate to your domain URL, followed by the folder name where the files were uploaded (e.g., http://www.yourdomain.com/frog). The installation page will appear.
  6. Database Configuration:
    1.  Confirm the Database driver is set to MySQL.
    2. Confirm that the Database server is localhost and the Port is 3306.
    3. Enter the database credentials you created in step 4:
      1. Database user
      2. Database password
      3. Database name
  7. Administrator Configuration:
    1. Customize the Administrator username if you’d like to use a different username from the default.
  8. Complete the installation:
    1. Click Install now. Once the process completes, configuration details and post-installation instructions will be shown:
      1.  Remove the install directory.
      2. Eliminate write permissions from the “config.php” file.
      3. Delete the “changelog.txt” file.
    2.  These steps are mandatory to secure your installation and log in to the admin panel.
  9.  Access the Frog CMS Administration Panel
You can now log in to the Frog CMS admin dashboard using the credentials configured during installation.

Following these steps, you’ll successfully install Frog CMS on your bodhost hosting account.
