What is HTTP2?

HTTP 2 is known as Hypertext Transfer Protocol Version 2. It is the latest version of the HTTP protocol, which is published as an IETF standard in RFC 7540 in 2015. The protocol focuses on performance, network, and server resource usage. It allows the connection from browsers to a website.

To get HTTP 2 working in the modules section on WHM. Use the following procedure

  1. Log into WHM
  2. Search for the Easy Apache 4
  3. Click on the Software Tab
  4. Click on the Customize Button.
  5. Now you will be able see EasyApache 4 under Apache Modules.
  6. You’ll need “HTTP2” in the search bar once you’ve opened Apache modules.
  7. You should now see “mod http2” and an “install” button.
  8. To install, swipe “right”
  9. After swiping to the right, press the next button before the “Review” option appears; once the “Review” option appears, scroll down and click the “Provision” button.
  10. You’ll see that your “Provision process is complete” after pressing the “Provision” button.
  11. To save, scroll down and press the “Done” button.
