In this knowledge-base, one can find how to Install new versions of PHP via WHM’s EasyApache interface. PHP Up gradation may be done easily from WHM’s EasyApache 4 interface. This interface allows to update and install Apache, PHP, and other components of the web server.

Let’s see the Procedure for installing the latest PHP version on cPanel:-
  1. Log into WHM.
  2. Navigate to EasyApache 4 from the search bar and Click Customize under Currently Installed Packages.
  3. Click PHP Versions on the left-hand side. After clicking on PHP versions, a drop-down list of versions displayed.
  4. Mark the version for installation by clicking the switch icon to the far right of the version. Click Review and review the output to ensure the PHP version you marked for installation installed.
  5. Click Provision, which will install the selected PHP versions.

    Once the process completes you should have the latest version of PHP installed & integrated on the web server.
