How to Install Minecraft Mods for PC, Mac, and Consoles

PC (Windows)

3. Install Mods – Go to your installation folder where Minecraft is located usually in the directory %appdata%.minecraft.
   – Open the “mods” folder located in the Minecraft directory.

Mac

1. Install Minecraft Forge – Follow steps 1 and 2 from the PC instructions.
2. Install Mods – Open Finder and press Command+Shift+G to open the “Go to Folder” window.
   – Write “~/Library/Application Support/minecraft” and press Enter.
   – Open the “mods” folder (create a new one if it doesn’t exist).
   – Copy the downloaded mods into the mods folder.
   – To activate the mods, launch Minecraft with the Forge profile.

Consoles (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch)

Unfortunately, installing mods on consoles is not officially supported by Minecraft.
