How to Back Up and Restore Sites in Plesk

This guide explains how to back up and restore your websites in Plesk. Regular backups are essential to guarantee you can quickly recover your site in case of issues.

Backing Up Your Site in Plesk:

1. To create a backup of your site in Plesk, follow these steps
   1. Log in to Plesk.
   2. Navigate to “Websites & Domains” in the left sidebar.
      
   3. Click “Backup & Restore”.
      
   4. On the Backup Manager page, click “Back Up.”
      
   5. Under “Backup content”, select the components you want to include in the backup.
      
   6. In the Type section, choose between a “Full” or “Incremental” backup.

3. Restoring Your Site from a Backup
   To restore a website from a backup, follow these steps:

   3. Click “Backup & Restore”.
   4. Select the backup you want to restore from the list.
   5. Under Backup content, choose one of the following options:
      1. Selected objects: Restore specific items.
      2. All objects (entire system): Restore the entire site.
         
   6. Customize the settings under Restoration options as needed.
   7. Click “Restore.” Plesk will begin restoring your site.
