How to Create Email Accounts in cPanel?

This article will guide you on how to create email accounts in cPanel, so you can use your own domain name such as ([email protected]) to send and receive emails for your website or business.

In this tutorial, we’ll learn how to create an email account through cPanel control panel. Follow the below steps to set up an email account in cPanel:

1. Log in to your cPanel control panel with your login credentials.
   
2. After logging in, Select “Email Accounts” sub-option from the “Email” tool.
   
3. To create email accounts, click on the “Create” button from the right-hand side of the screen.
4. A form-type page will appear. Select the domain from the list using the drop-down arrow. If the domain is missing, you can check your account’s domain configuration by using the “Manage Subdomains” or “Manage Aliases” option located on the right-hand side of the screen.
5. Type in the email address in the “Username” text box.
6. In the “Password” field, enter the password, or you can also use the “Password Generator”.
   
7. Next, configure the “Optional Settings”:

   1. Choose Unlimited or specify the Storage Space in MB.

   2. Use the radio button to select whether folders for Plus Addressing should be created automatically or manually.

   3. Check the box if you’d like to send a welcome email with instructions for setting up a mail client.
8. Check the box “Stay on this page after I click Create,” if you want to stay on the same page after clicking the Create button.
9. Finally, click on the “Create” button.
   
10. You will receive a success message as shown below.
