  3. Example: “Learn More”, “Subscribe”, or “Download”.
  4. Paste the URL you want the button to go to after clicking the link icon.
  5. You can change the button’s color, size, and alignment using the settings on the right side.
  6. “Save” your changes.
  7. Click “Update” or “Publish”.

Optional: Enable Plugins for Enhanced Button Features

If you want more control over button design or want to reuse buttons across your site, you can install a plugin. Here are a few popular options:

  1. MaxButtons – Lets you create stylish buttons with custom colors, sizes, and effects.
  2. Otter Blocks: This adds more Gutenberg blocks, such as advanced buttons.
  3. WPForms – Useful if you want buttons inside forms (like “Submit” or “Send”).
    To install a plugin:

    • Go to Plugins > Add New.
    • Search for the plugin name.
    • Click Install Now, then Activate.

This method lets you easily add links and buttons in WordPress, enhancing your website’s navigation and user experience. Use links to connect text to other pages or external sites, and buttons to emphasize key actions like “Contact Us” or “Buy Now.” You can rely on the built-in editor or use plugins for advanced features. Always test your changes and maintain a clear, consistent design.
