I have three DNS servers and one domain in my company When my two servers are down I don't see any requests from the third server services. I have heard that using multiple DNS servers is a fault-tolerance mechanism but I think it isn't. When there is manual insertion of address of third server as preferred everything works usual. Then what's the benefit of multiple DNS servers?
