DotNetNuke is one my favorite .NET CMS. It is simple, flexible, and customizable. You will also find the installation process of DNN pretty simple. DNN was designed to be very user friendly. As an administrator, you can simply compose and distribute bulk HTML emails / newsletter to your user groups.

I will prefer Umbraco as it is designed by keeping the developer’s mind. But it means that it will take a little extra effort to get it up and running. Note: if you are also considering this platform but do not have handy experience with design and development then make sure you use paid version to receive additional support and training.
