Bodhost.com has its Data Center based in Chicago Facility of Hurricane Electric. Our Network Operations Center has an international internet backbone is considered to be one of the best connections world-wide. Some of the names include Level(3), Abovenet, Savvis, PCCW, Telia and Cogent. Connections ranging from OC192, OC48, and 10GigE (10,000Mbps) form rings connecting Hurricane core routers.

An in-house developed self-healing network architecture ensures that there are no blackholes or failure points within the core network. On top of our own backbone, as part of our redundancy program we also have multiple Tier III connections from different locations. This also assures that your data arrives via the shortest and the fastest available network route.

Our negotiations with the top fiber carriers for new routes and additional backup transit providers is yet under development. We are also plan to signup with new peering relationships in the near future.

Hurricane Electric's network utilizes Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGP4) over dark fiber and long haul wavelengths. We always update the router's software after we have stress tested the latest software on a non-critical router, to make sure it is very stable. The switch that your equipment will ultimately be connected to is connected back to a core router via fiber. All equipments & parts used are branded. So you never have to worry about hardware failure.

Facade: Aluminum window system and gold tinted windows.
Roof: Roof space is limited to mechanical structures. Racks and additional
equipment can be located on the 16th floor Tower Data Center.
Floor Loading: 50 - 80 pounds per sq. ft. live load (can be reinforced at column lines).
Ceiling Heights: Slab to slab: 13 ft, to lowest beams: 9'-11"
Column Distance: 28 ft. x 28 to 32 ft.
Electrical Capacity: Typical power allocation is approximately 40 watts per sq. ft.
expandable to 80 watts per sq. ft. Each cabinet and 4' x 6' cage receives a 110 volt, 20 amp circuit. Main power is 480 volt, 3 phase.Multiple DC power supplies are now available.
Elevators: Five passenger service elevator operate during regular business hours. Two secure passenger elevators operate during non-business hours. One freight elevator with a 3,500-pound capacity.
Fire Suppression: Existing wet system can be converted to a pre-action system. FM-200 system can be installed. Meet-Me Room is a zoned pre-action system.
Security: Manned, on-site security is present 24/7/365. Keycard system is in place for after-hours building entry and floor access.
Risers: Fully master-planned riser system, providing diverse riser capacity for fiber, HVAC piping, electric and fuel riser needs.
Parking: Underground gated parking area, not open to public access.
Delivery Area Loading: A loading area in the surface lot at the south side of the building is available to tenants for delivery of equipment.
Operating Engineers: On-site operating engineers to support building systems and provide tenant service.
Other Core Systems: On-site building engineers available for tenant service.
Primary Power: Market Post Tower has 480 volt, 3-phase power delivered to the central power riser on each floor via a conduit riser system. Power allocated is based on the tenant's actual demonstrated loads. Typical power allocation is approximately 40 watts per sq. ft. expandable to 80 watts per sq. ft.
Emergency Power: The Landlord has a 900 KW generator and a 500 KW generator. Generator power is brought to the power riser on each floor through a conduit riser system. Two 2000 KW generators will be added as demand increases.
Fuel Storage: Market Post Tower has existing fuel storage and containment and associated pumping for 24 hours of continuous generator use.
HVAC Dedicated Cooling: We have installed a new, fully redundant, 1,500-ton condenser water system with tenant tap-ins pre-installed in one of the wet risers on each floor.
