Below, you will learn how to connect to the VPS, while using Remote Desktop.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4><strong>Windows Operating Systems<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>First and foremost, you will need to click on the Start Menu. From there, scroll to programs, accessories, and finally Remote Desktop Connection.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Alternatively, you can access the Start menu and use the run command to access mstsc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\r\n<li>Once you\u2019ve accessed the Remote Desktop Connection, you will need to enter your Server\u2019s IP address and hit the Connect button.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>At this point, you will be asked to enter your Username and Password. Do so and hit the enter button.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Using Mac OS<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>If you\u2019re using a Mac computer, the process will be slightly different. First, you will need to download the CoRD program, which is available for free.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Once the program has installed, you will want to open it and familiarize yourself with its user interface.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Now, click on the Servers icon and hit the + button. This will allow you to add a new server.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Now, insert your Server\u2019s IP address and adjust the port number, if necessary.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Add your username and password, before completing the process.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Double-click the server to log in to your VPS.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Linux OS<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Linux users will need to utilize the rdeskop application, which is open-source and downloaded for free.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>After the application has installed, you will want to open the command prompt and enter the following.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Rdesktop VPS_IP_Address \u2013 This should entered, if the default port is used<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Rdesktop VPS_IP_Address:portnumber \u2013 This should be entered if using a unique port<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\r\n<li>Now, you asked to enter your username and password. After doing so, you will want to click on the arrow button to log in.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take note that Remote Desktop Connection functionality is only available for dedicated services and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodhost.com\/vps-hosting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VPS Hosting<\/a><\/strong>, which uses the Windows operating system.
