Unable to receive\/send e-mails –<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  1. For incoming mail server –
    Tool>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Servers
    \r\n

    The incoming mail server(POP3) should be changed to –<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    \u201cmail.yourdomainname.com\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. The incoming mail server (POP3) account name and password should be entered accordingly.
    \r\n

    Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Servers<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Type the account name and password –<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Primary account username \u2013 username<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    But in the case of the creation of an alternative e-mail using Cpanel, the username will be username@yourdomain.com<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  3. If POP3 is using the wrong port number –
    \r\n

    Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Advanced<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Change the SSL<\/a> port number to 110.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  4. Check if the mail client is using SSL –
    \r\n

    Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Advanced<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Uncheck the option to use SSL<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  5. Mail client set up to use Secure Password Authentication –
    Tools>Accounts>Mail>Double click on the e-mail account that set up>Click on servers>Check the box \u2013 My server requires authentication.<\/li>\r\n
  6. Mail servers should be as follows –
    SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com
    POP3: mail.yourdomain.com<\/li>\r\n
  7. Remove and create the e-mail account through Cpanel and check if works.<\/li>\r\n
  8. If yet, it is malfunctioning, The ISP will be blocking outside e-mail servers, in this situation you must use their outgoing e-mail servers.<\/li>\r\n
  9. If yet, there is an error, follow the steps mentioned below –
    \r\n

    If using windows>click on start>Run>enter: telnet yourdomain.com 25<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Observe the results. If you get this:
    220-manou.bodhost.com.com ESMTP Exim 3.36 #1 Sun, 8 Feb 2004 14:20:15 -0500
    220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,
    220 and\/or bulk e-mail.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
