This tutorial explains how to create and publish a poll on your Joomla 1.5 website. Polls are useful when you want to collect quick feedback from visitors \u2014 for example, asking how they like your website, a product, or a service.<\/p>\n

Follow the steps below to create a poll:<\/p>\n

Step 1: Create a New Poll<\/strong><\/h5>\n

  1. Log in to your Joomla administrator area.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Components \u2192 Polls.<\/li>\n
  3. Click New.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter a name for the poll (for example: \u201cPlease tell us how you like our website\u201d).<\/li>\n
  5. On the left side, add the answer options (for example: Needs Improvement, Not Bad, Good, Superb).<\/li>\n
  6. Click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Step 2: Publish the Poll Using a Module<\/strong><\/h5>\n

    1. Go to Extensions \u2192 Module Manager (or use the module menu available in the top area).<\/li>\n
    2. Create or edit a Poll module.<\/li>\n
