The below post explains how to change the Document Root of an Addon Domain or Subdomain in cPanel.<\/p>\n

The document root is a folder that is unique to a domain. Even the addon domains or subdomains in cPanel have their personal document root folder. cPanel allows users to change the document root for their addon domains and subdomains.<\/p>\n

The technique is nearly identical for both Addon Domains and Subdomains.<\/p>\n

Follow these procedures to modify the Document Root of the Addon Domain:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Go to your\u00a0cPanel\u00a0account and log in.
    \n\"cPanel\"<\/li>\n
  2. Scroll down to the \u201cDomains\u201d\u00a0section and select\u00a0\u201cAddon Domains\u201d\u00a0from the drop-down menu.
    \n\"Addon-Domains\"<\/li>\n
  3. Just go to the\u00a0\u201cModify Addon Domain\u201d\u00a0section and click the edit icon of the addon domain you want to alter in the document root.
