  • Who is in control of domain pricing?

    Good day, everyone!
I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post. I was curious as to who sets the cost for domains such as.com.

Typically, the ICANN is in charge of all renewal fees and such. my registrar, who offers reasonable fees. My.com domains cost me $9.99 each year.

The base wholesale price for.com domain names is usually set by ICANN. We've had several customers comment on the recent hike, but it's a modest increase, and inflation is exploding in other industries around the world, so I'm not surprised they've gone up

Any increase in one of these components will be reflected in the pricing for the final client.

So, how does it work if I want a Like.name.of.my.company domain?

Prices are rising, according to our observations, due to an increase in the taxes that domain registrars pay to CC for registering a single name.
