ISPConfig is a graphical interface to manage web servers, available as an open source. Different levels of hosting companies may offer you this service to manage all the traditional services of a web server such as DNS, domain names, FTP, web server, database, etc&#8230;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Here are the features available:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Httpd (virtual hosts, domain and IP based) Apache<\/li>\r\n<li>FTP &#8211; Proftpd and vsftpd<\/li>\r\n<li>Bind (A, CNAME, MX, and SPF Records)<\/li>\r\n<li>POP3 Auto-Responder<\/li>\r\n<li>MySQL client-databases<\/li>\r\n<li>Webalizer statistics<\/li>\r\n<li>Hard disk quota<\/li>\r\n<li>Mail-Quota<\/li>\r\n<li>Traffic limits<\/li>\r\n<li>IP-addresses<\/li>\r\n<li>SSL<\/li>\r\n<li>Shell-access<\/li>\r\n<li>Mailscanner (Antivirus)<\/li>\r\n<li>Firewall &#8211; iptables ipchains<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you are considering the ISPConfig admin panel for dedicated server web hosting, then some points you may need to remember.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As a reminder, ispconfig3 is an &#8220;interface&#8221; to graphically manage your hosting server, including the services that I have mentioned above.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>However, there are a few concern issues that go with it, including the fact the version provided is not \u201cup to date\u201d. The other issue inherent in it; ispconfig3 is highly questionable about integrated webmail; (squirellmail). And finally that the default mail this architecture, using the SMTP port 25 instead of 587, is more common today when you have ISPs filter port 25.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Therefore main objectives are:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Update ispconfig3 to its latest version<\/li>\r\n<li>Squirrel mail was replaced by Round-cube<\/li>\r\n<li>Change port 25 through port 587 for SMTP service<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The following points need to be noted before using this admin panel.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Use port 587 instead of port 25<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Change webmail &#8220;squirrelmail&#8221; with &#8220;roundcube&#8221;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>SSL solves the problem caused by the update<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Update of ispconfig<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISPConfig is an online administration interface to manage the hosting server web services.
