HSphere is Control Panel software developed by Positive Software, Inc. (PSOFT.NET).It is a complete front end control panel and it is integrated back end for automating day to day tasks of web hosting operation like billing, e-mail, web, FTP, POP3, DNS, cgi-bin, Webmail and FrontPage configuration. It is a user-friendly on the front end and intuitive web interface that allows complete customer self-care and can cut down your maintenance and customer support costs. On the back end it is a system for managing above mentioned server side operation tasks which includes support for various operating systems , hosting plans, database platforms and E-commerce services.Hsphere is available for Linux, Unix and Windows environments; and works with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
This control panel should be able to handle hundreds of thousands and even millions of accounts. However, too many resellers may generate high control panel load.Hsphere also supports shared as well as vps servers. Hsphere does not provide centralized management for python scripts, but you can add python support manually. For Unix hosting you just need python support installed on the web box. Windows hosting requires additional coding for this.

1) Hshere license is more expensive than others.
2) Hsphere’s procedure of installation, upgradation and configuration is complicated and it requires high qualification of system administrators.
3) Hsphere has too many advanced features that’s why it is a too much complicated solution for small hosting companies, especially as a single server installation.
4) It’s control panel interface extensively uses JavaScript. Some reviewers regard it as a disadvantage.
5) Hsphere control panel works on non-standard 8080 and 8443 ports which may be blocked by client-side firewalls.
6) It does not provide a comprehensive tool for its backup.
