Default Suspend and Unsuspend websites through Plesk on Windows Dedicated Hosting

It is possible that you might have to suspend a website (your or your customers ) on your Windows dedicated hosting. Though, it is possible to suspend the websites through RDP also, however, it is easier to do it through Plesk control panel. You can check the steps given below to suspend or unsuspend websites through Plesk.

Suspend a website:

1. Login to your Plesk control panel and go to Domains.

2. Then go to the specific domain name and look for the option Suspend.

3. Click Suspend and the domain i.e. the website will be suspended.

Unsuspend a website:

1. Login to your Plesk control panel and go to the option Domains.

2. If the domain is suspended, look for the option, Unsuspend.

3. Click Unsuspend and the domain will be Unsuspended.

Hope this is helpful

Thank you for the information Carl. I havn't used Plesk, though Im interested in knowing whether you can suspend/unsuspend multiple websites in one go? I use cPanel, it does allow you to suspend or unsuspend multiple accounts at a time.

As I am not a big Plesk user I am happy to see they still keep it pretty simple (compared to other types out there). The last thing people need is something more confusing, esp. if its a new person getting into the hosting biz.

You are most welcome

Yes, it is possible to select and suspend multiple domains through Plesk control panel on your Windows dedicated server.

For this purpose, you can check the steps below:

1. Login into Plesk control panel.

2. Go to the options Domains. You will find all the domains hosted on the server.

3. Select the Domains you wish to Suspend and click Switch Off which is an option provided on the upper left of your Plesk control panel.

4. Once you click Switch Off, all the selected domains will be suspended.
