Question Windows & Linux?

I've just learned their are some nice differences between the two. Can anyone explain what the main differences are between them? I'm very interested to know!

Yes, there are differences between Linux and Windows operating systems. However, some of them are nice but not all of them

You can get information about the differences between the 2 operating systems through the below link :

Please feel free to post if you would like to have some more information about the differences between the 2 operating systems

The biggest difference is Linux is better

I'd say the biggest thing that would affect you is the fact that more software you might consider putting on your server will be available for linux than windows.

You have both been very helpful. JeremyWJ, I had thought it would be the other way around since Windows is licensed. What would be a few things I would use that are Linux, in your opinion? Thanks in advance!

I have been around the Linux community for more than 10 years now. From the very beginning, I have known that there are basic differences between Linux and Windows that will always set them apart. This is not, in the least, to say one is better than the other. It’s just to say that they are fundamentally different. Many people, looking from the view of one operating system or the other, don’t quite get the differences between these two powerhouses. So I decided it might serve the public well to list 10 of the primary differences between Linux and Windows.
