Another cloud hosting ?...

I keep seeing providers claiming that cloud hosting is the next big thing and that I should jump on in but I have to wonder why. I know that on the front end I am basically looking at a VPS but on the back end am I getting some sort of redundancy that a VPS will not provide? Is VPS-Mirroring a better option?

Yes, IMO, VPS Mirroring would be the best option. You will able to get the experience of how Mirrrored Dedicated Server works for a very low cost.

VPS-Mirroring means, It has 2 vps (primary and secondary) which configure with same setup. If any reason one of the VPS's fails than another VPS takes it's place. So you can get 100% uptime guarantee to the websites hosted on the VPS.
