About Softaculous?

I only hear the name Softaculous, don't have any idea about it. Can anyone get any idea about it, like: what is it/ what are the advantages of it?
I need a VPS. Can Softaculous help me with it?

Softaculous is an auto script installer alike fantastico and installatron, but it provides 239 scripts more than rest of the two. FYI, you will have to pay a certain amount of charges to use Softaculous on VPS.
