Default VPS or Dedicated server?

As a newbie, I would like to know which is the best, VPS or dedicated server.

Which is better in terms of:
cost?
support?
less downtime?
quality?

thanks to those who'll reply.

Hello Raismith,

A VPS is similar to a dedicated server, wherein you get a complete control over the operating environment. Using Virtulization technology, multiple VPSs are created on a dedicated server and shares the server CPU resources. With a VPS you get guaranteed RAM and full root access. Whereas in dedicated hosting a complete server is at your disposal.
In terms of:-

Cost- Depending on your hosting requirements, you can opt for a VPS or Dedicated server.

Support- All of our hosting packages including dedicated servers comes with 24 x 7 x 365 free technical assistance via live chat, phone and helpdesk.

Downtime- 99.95% network and power uptime guarantee.

Quality- We offer only branded servers, hence you are assured about the quality

Thanks for these info, I am curious regarding the customer support. for me, I value customer support a lot. I've been experiencing some email tickets and calling them but I could say it's not that good. Also, if a Live chat support is available, that is much appreciated.

You are at the right place. FYI, BODHost provide round the clock customer support through Live chat, email tickets, and phone calls. In addition, you will also find BODHost's customer support representatives even on weekends as well.

even on weekends?! I've never heard of customer support during weekends.
as of my experience, I really hate it when I eagerly needed a customer support and when you dialed their number or submit a ticket they'll just ignore you.

Having a great customer support makes a certain company outstanding! (this is just my opinion, does everyone agree?)

Yes, you are absolutely right and that's the reason BODHost has a long lasting clients. Since I've joined this company the thing which I am continuously noticing that some of our support department members usually solve the clients application side problems when we are just responsible for hardware and server side issues.

Honesty is more important in web hosting business, but this also fact that sometimes clients don't understand which problem they have to discuss with support department. One of my fellow team member has been written a very nice article on technical support. I strongly recommend you to go through the following url to read that article.
