Default Default FTP path for cpanel user

I want to change the default FTP path for cpanel user. But Cpanel don’t allow me to do so. Is there any way I can set FTP root for one user to some other directory?

cPanel’s interface doesn’t allow you to change the FTP root because the hierarchical structure of Cpanel won’t allow this.* But a simple workaround is to make change in the FTP configuration file of particular user.

/etc/proftpd contains the configuration file in every user, you can open the file and replace the path with the one you want to set for the user and restart the FTP service on the server.
