Default VDS or VPS

Hello,

What is more correct VDS or VPS?
Is it totally same things?
Is "remote reboot" option is present in VPS/VDS?
We mean no need to bother support team then server is down?

Hi!
VPS/VDS are exchangeable.
There is no difference at all. All the same thing. one Physical server running separate servers.
Just as you thought, there is no remote reboot system for VPS's. You don't really require it.
You can start and start your server as often as you like, stop and start services..etc.
Thanx

Default Hello

With a VDS (Virtual Dedicated server), the server resources are allocated to your server specifically, whereas with a VPS the host resources are spread across all servers. Ie. VDS is better as a server cannot host more servers than the resources can actually handle with the resources it has.

Thank you,

A Virtual Private Server (VPS, also referred to as Virtual Dedicated Server or VDS) is a method of splitting one physical server into several independent virtual machines. Each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating system, have independent file system, CPU and RAM resources, etc.

Hosting providers tend to give different names to the hosting plans and servers they offer just to attract more customers. A VPS and a VDS are the same. There is no difference between them and the functionality is the same.
