Default Operating System need to reinstall on VPS

Hi

I have a VPS account with installed Linux-CentOS 5.2. I wonder if I can reinstall it with latest Linux-ubuntu.10.10 server edition. Is it possible to clean CentOS 5.2 installation and install fresh ubuntu?
