I've been learning a lot in this forum. Thanks to the mods as well as the members who are very kind in answering my questions.

Here is another one. What exactly is reselling?

I have been reading that reselling is something you could sell another domain using your own server. But how does it work?

The reseller purchases a large chunk of web space and bandwidth from the web hosting company and can then carve that into individual chunks of space/bandwidth for sale to customers. Customers contact the reseller for support.

Reselling basically means purchasing some resources i.e. a hosting plan or server from the web hosting provider and selling some part of the hosting plan or server to different customers to earn profit. You are pretending that you are providing hosting services to your customers, however, you are actually a customer of a web hosting provider and providing services to them.
