Default VPS mirroring questions

I noticed in the BODhost main page that there's something called "Virtual Server Mirroring". From the description, it appears to be failover solution for VPSes. What I'd like to know, though, is whether we get access to the slave VPS or whether it's just the master VPS only. In case the master VPS goes down, the slave VPS takes over, right? Then in case of a downtime on the master VPS, are we still able to access VZPP or connect via SSH? Will it be with the master VPS which is still down, or with the slave VPS which is up?

Good question. I'm interested in knowing that as well. I think you're probably able to access the slave, but only in the event that the master goes down. I mean, it makes sense, right?

Yes, we offer Virtual Server Mirroring which offers Server mirroring as well as fail-over. In case, master server is down, it automatically switches to the slave server and you will access to the slave server until the master server is up. This also implies to VzPP.

Ah, I see. So when the master VPS is restored and is updated by the slave VPS, then control will revert back to the master? Good to know.
