Default FreeBSD vps on a Linux node?

I was just wondering if it's possible to create a FreeBSD vps on a Linux node. I know, FreeBSD isn't Linux, which is why I'm wondering if it's even possible. I'm interested in tinkering around a bit with FreeBSD, which I've never tried before, but I don't really want to have to get a dedi just for that.

I've heard that it was possible, but only on Xen. I don't think it's possible in Virtuozzo, though. It probably has something to do with the way that Xen handles virtualization that makes it possible, but don't quote me on that.
