DDOS / Digg effect protection on VPS?

I know that BODhost has DDOS protection for dedicated servers, but what about VPSes? Is the same level of protection available for VPS users? What about if another VPS on your node gets DDOSed or has a popular article that got Dugg (that's almost like a DDOS attack), how does it affect your VPS on the same node?

Well, normally the VPS server node is behind a firewall and DDOS protected. Now, for the VPS, our Server Stats team keeps a watch on incoming / outgoing connections of the vps and if there are any attacks on the vps, we can definitely setup DDOS - Proxy shield for that VPS to make sure it doesn't affect other vps's on the same server node.

Most important is that we have to maintain our network uptime irrespective of any attacks or threats.

So VPS nodes are already DDoS protected? That's very good to know. Glad to see that there are measures in place to keep your customers protected before we even know we need it. Now that's quality service! :D

That is definitely quality service! Glad to see that BODHost is very concerned about the integrity of their network and servers — it bodes well for the customers. ;)

Indeed. We have to be concerned for our servers and network in order to maintain high-quality services.
