Default Selecting IP Address

Hi there,

I have a website configured on my VPS and I can view it locally via http://localhost etc.

Unfortunately I can't access it from another PC, I have tried selecting one of my IP addresses for the site but when I do so I end up recieving a 400 error, "Bad Request Header".

How would I select the IP for my site so that I can view it from another PC?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Abstraction,

Not sure which control panel do you have.

If you were having cPanel/WHM then you can access your site using temporary URL as http://IPaddress/~username/

For Plesk Control Panel you have to login into your Plesk panel >> Domain >> Domain name >> Site preview option

I've just realised something, I have 2 dedicated IP addresses so I don't really understand the username requirement?

I've just run the Parallels Power Panel and installed Plesk, and when I go to log into Plesk it pops up the URL for my site that I have been trying but fails to connect to Plesk.

I think something is configured incorrectly, could you take a look for me please?

Nick.
