Problem with syslogd

I am facing problem with syslogd.
Can any technician solve my syslogd failed issue?

At first you have to find out whether it sysklogd present.

[~]# rpm -q sysklogd

If you don't find out sysklogd, then you have to install it with the following command

[~]# yum install sysklogd

After installation, you have to restart the server with the following command

[~]# /etc/init.d/syslog restart
