Database backup of phpBB3 forum

Hi!
Taking regular backup is very important- how can i backup the database of my phpBB3 forum?

Hi,

You can backup database thorugh phpmyadmin or through mysql client, but in phpBB3 there is a inbuilt facility to create database backup from administrator panel of phpBB3.

Go to Maintenance toolbar >> Click in backup option >> tick "Select all" in order to select all tables for the backup >> Submit

Once you press the submit button it will start backing up the database and popup a compressed database backup file for download.
