Not sure how many of you kids are interested in PERL with all this PHP kicking around *grimaces*.
You may enjoy this rather fine tutorial, by far the best I've found.

And yes - next to python and haskell - it is the *best* language ;)

yes I wants to appreciate Perl but as PhP and Python are the most popular languages peoples are more familiar with it.That"s they will always prefer that first.
