How to transfer a website to new domain

I wants to change my old webiste's domain name can any one explain it to me how to do that

Please let us know the domain extension that you are looking forward to transfer.

A new domain name can be registered and all the data from the old domain name can be transfered to the new domain name. Also, please make a note, the privileges received by the old domain compared to the new domain name in respect with the search engine ranking cannot be retrieved once you have transfered to the new domain name.

However, the best suggestion here is once you transfer, make sure you have a permanent redirect from the old domain to the new domain name.
