Chars with no spaces

Hey!
I have an issue.

I am using a table with PHP and HTML.
The table begins with a form, the user inputs information, or updates information as is retrieved or entered in the database.

Now... my problem is this...

When the user inputs a string of characters without a break, the characters appear without a break, distorting the table dimensiosn and causing a horizontal scrollbar to appear. Wrap and Scrollbar are both options i realize, to turn this effect off, but neither is working.

Anyone have any other ideas?
