PHP script to protect my Images?

Is there any ready made script available that prevent my website images from being copied? Fire1

There is no way to prevent images once they published on the Internet. You can make it difficult for people to copy images, but any adequate website copier will be able to copy those images by anyway. Usually, if the users find themselves unable to download image, they simply use the Print-Screen button on their keyboard to capture the image.

In my opinion, you need use watermark on your images. You can't prevent copier to copy images, but if you put a watermark on it then at least your work is considered as a copyrighted and if someone else use those images without your permissions, you will know it all is yours.

I think watermark on image is the best way to do it. You can disable the right click option on your web pages by using JavaScript, but I would not recommend it as it makes your website's image unfriendly. Usually visitors don't like a site that seems like this.

If you really want to prevent you images from copier you need to do both. Put watermark on your images and disable right click option as well. You can also insert a pop-up message on right click like this “image is copyrighted” when someone else try to save images.
