PHP Hosting or ASP .NET Hosting

Well, I have read a lot about hosting but I am not able to judge which hosting is better PHP hosting or ASP.NET hosting.
Plz help me.

If you ask the prices of hosting, ASP hosting is almost more expensive than PHP hosting. PHP runs with almost every operating systems which is not the case with ASP.NET.
