Best free scripts for start-ups.

Anyone out there willing to share their favorite free scripts for start-up websites? I'm thinking about working on a few (designing the layout and setting up the script) to resell after they've got a steady flow of traffic.

Are there any type of scripts you are looking for specially? Are you looking at some for random start up sites or something hosting related only?

I know this makes me look like I'm pretty much without a direction (which is the case MOST of the time :p), but I'm looking for a wide variety of open source (and paid, but resellable) scripts. In the past, I've done image hosting sites, directories (now pretty much defunct, unfortunately), URL shortening sites, and forums.
