Default safe mode

Hi all,

I tried to install Drupal for one of my clients (Linux VPS) and got the message the Safe Mode should be turned off.

I edited the php.ini file and turned off Safe Mode. phpinfo() confirms that it is off, but that shows that the master value is off while the local value is still on. Drupal needs the local value turned off.

Where else do I need to look or what else do I need to change?

Thanks

Barry

Thumbs up

Hello,

Check if php.ini file is available in the home directory where you are trying to install drupal. If the file is available, turn off the safe mode and check php info.

If this does not work for you then I would request you to send an email to our VPS support department at vps@bodhost.com from your registered email address and our senior admins will solve the problem for you

What's Drupal? I'm not familiar with it yet. I'm still a bit new to this business of VPS hosting and my knowledge base has a lot of growing to do. Thanks for your patience.

Drupal is a Content Management System (also known as CMS) written in PHP.
