Default Flash banners?

I'm making a couple of flash banners for my index page and was wondering if it would be too much of a load on my server? I don't want to the page to load too slow.

Try reducing the frame rate per second. You also my want to delete any unused items from library and optimize the images. This will reduce the site loading time.

How about uploading the Flash banner and providing us with a link in order to check if there is any more room for optimization.

There are several 'Flash Optimizers/Compressors' available all over the web, which do a good job. I've used few of them earlier for my sites, but don't have their names handy atm

Here are a couple I've used. Swftools dot com and flash-optimize dot com you can try those and see if they work for you.

I've also used Swftools dot com. It's not too hard I guess. I'm not really a techy person but I'm able to use swftools dot com and come out with a finished product.
