Data Center Infrastructure Upgrade

Due to an infrastructure upgrade we have been moving blocks of servers from one location in the DC to another. This upgrade is essential in keeping everything up-to-date and online.

The next migration is scheduled for 4/21/2009 at 12:30PM Central Standard Time. At this time we will need to power off your server(s) and move them to a new location. Nothing will change on these servers listed below except for the location and server ID. You will not need to change any IPs what-so-ever. However, if you have a private network connections or any other special setup please let us know by way of email asap.

If you simply can't move at this time let us know before the date so we can move you separately. The only drawback to moving separately is that you will need to change the main IP of your server to a new IP. Your additional IPs will stay the same but the single IP we have assigned to your serverwill need to change to something else.

The servers that will be powered off at or soon after 12:30PM CST are as follows:

Servers 564-611

If your server(s) fall in that range they will most certainly be moved at that date.

Please direct all responses to dedicated@bodhost.com. You might want to do a clean shutdown at about 12:25PM CST in order for the move to go smoothly. Expect about a 30 minute downtime (for some it will only be 5 minutes). Do not be surprised if your machine does a filesystem check and takes a bit longer. This might, for some, be the first time shutting down in awhile so please take backups of all your data PRIOR to the move date!
