Hello Esteemed BODHost VPS clients,

On Sunday, 9/21/08 at 1:00 AM CDT, engineers will be performing network upgrades that will require one of our edge routers to be rebooted. When this takes place, routes over Level(3), Abovenet, and PCCW will be unavailable for up to 10 minutes while BGP is re-established at our second POP.

This maintenace is part of a series of planned upgrades that will take place over the next 90 days to improve network capacity and performance. For this particular maintenance, BODHost is deploying a routing optimization appliance developed by Internap. This device is expected to decrease latency on all routes by up to 50% once it is installed.
