Smile My SQL charecter set?

If you want to change the character-set of mysql then you can change it by editing /etc/my.cnf file by setting proper parameters.

Default MySQL Server Set Commands

Lately i saw these commands for server set -

shell> mysqld
shell> mysqld --character-set-server=latin1
shell> mysqld --character-set-server=latin1 \
--collation-server=latin1_swedish_ci

What do you think?
