Foriegn Keys in MySQL

> InnoDB supports foriegn key checks.
> This is not needed to join two tables.
> The following should be enacted while using syntax -
> Ensure col_name exists in tbl_name
> No actions such as deleting rows in the course of Updates
> It does not create any sort of Index / Key
> Error will be shown in the case of InnoDB table definition
> In order to use a column that is created in a join column as follows -

When used in this fashion, the REFERENCES clause is not displayed in the output of SHOW CREATE TABLE or DESCRIBE:
