Default Recommended MS-SQL database limit?

Hi

Let me know what is the perfect maximum size of a single MS-SQL database to be allowed in shared hosting package?

The standard number of MS-SQL database size limitation on shared account is 400 MB for a single MS-SQL database size. In my opinion if you have a database size more than or equal to 400 MB then you need to switch on dedicated server or at least opt VPS environment.

It really depends on the database size as well. If an user have a 4 GB database size and doing less than or equal to 100 query then it should not have to be a problem, but then user should be able to block number of additional query. The intent behind this suggestion is, personally I believe number of queries, request, and transactions on the database have the more importance than its total size, however, this just my personal opinion.
