Hi

Did you upgrade MySQL, manually or via WHM? If WHM then you will have to login to your control panel search Tweak Setting in WHM and there you've an option to upgrade MySQL database edition to required version.

Thanx

I know the process to upgrade mysql from WHM. My question here is, dose this upgrade will cause any kind of damage to databases.

Hi!
I think it's recommended to take backup of all the databases, before upgrading or downgrading the mysql, because there is always a chance of database corruption while upgrading or downloading.
