I am going to be uploading a really big database, but before I do this I would love to know what the biggest database you have done is? Any issues I should know before I start?

You need mention the size of data base, which you are going to upload. Usually web host set up the size limit on each MS SQL data base. You will need to upgrade your hosting plan to next level if you need more space for databases, e-mail accounts or web quota.

Note : MS SQL database space divide betwen log file + data file. For ex. If database is 300 MB that is 150 mb data file + 150 MB log file.

If you have a shared plan the database size is limited, normally the web hosts sets a limit of 400 mb size limit per database, it may vary depending on the web host, make sure to get this checked with your web host before hand.

If you have a vps or dedicated server, then the size of your HDD is the limit for you

Oh super, you guys have answered my question perfectly. Now that I have looked at that it looks like the database is just under my limit. I wonder if that is a sign that it is time to upgrade!
