Default Top crash reasons

Right now a spare site of mine is having random crashings and we can not seem to figure out why. It is happened to members at random times of the day and these members are spread out world wide. I can not put my finger on it, so frustrating! Any thoughts? Hammering

Thumbs up

Misconfiguration on the site could be one of the reasons behind it. If not, check the programming script of the site alongwith the applications installed on the site. Else, you can get in touch with the hosting provider and ask the support team to figure it out for you.

Could you let me know what exactly do you mean by "site crashing"? Does it become unavailable or show errors? Also, what type of hosting/server is the website on ?

Its not just the site anymore, its the entire net connection and its totally random. From what 4 techs who have been out have said already there is a "leak" somewhere, we can see it pinging on our end but they can not see it coming in off the line from the pole. Figures right? :(

Is this server with a different host ? Is it a dedicated server?

Did you contact the hosting provider and ask him the reason for this ? If yes, what did they say ?

You need to contact your hosting provide technical support service and see what they have to say. You will definitely save yourself from further stress.

I would be crazy without my hosting provider technical support service because there are so many things I don't know how to solve myself, and it's not always my fault.

Well said. I pay someone else to do what I have no time for or because I lack the knowledge. I am with Bodhost for the latter reason and am glad of it. I don't understand too much but I don't need to

Default Agreed

I agree, I love tech people who are able to keep all that knowledge safe. I do like to learn it as I go, but I do not have the time to really get a full comprehension of it. And like you said, it is good because I don't have to!

I would love to have a job as a techie! Of course I love what I am doing now as well. Even though I do have skills, I still depend on the techies assistance. I get frustrated with people who complaine about techies because I do not think they realize what a tough job it is.
